Know the day a carrier you count on changes
Authority revoked, insurance cancelled, an out-of-service order landing. fleetfax watches your carriers in the federal record and shows you the day it turns up.
Free for a book of up to 50 carriers (launch offer through Sep 28, normally 15), 3 of them on same-day watch.
Your whole book, read against the federal record every day
One row per carrier: what the federal record says, what your own policy says, and what you actually ran with them — loads, last load, dispatcher. A carrier that cleared onboarding in March can be uninsured by June; the row changes the day the record does, and what changed waits for you in your account.
Filter the book by what is wrong with it: blocking, outside your policy, not used in 90 days. Open a row for the finding and the rule that decided it, switch to the map, or put three carriers side by side.
fleetfax reads the federal record once a day, so same-day means the day a change shows up in that read. Alerts land in your account, where you read them when you come back. Email is not part of this yet.
One row per carrier. The federal record's verdict on the left, your own policy's result beside it, then what you actually ran with them. One click shows only the carriers that are blocking, outside your policy, or not used in 90 days. An illustrative composite: carrier names are fictional, their DOT numbers are unissued, and every figure in frame was authored for this image.
Where your carriers were observed. The same book as a map: heat from roadside inspections and crashes over the last 24 months, drawn from where the trucks were stopped, not from a service area typed into a form. Pick up to ten carriers at a time.
Three at once. Pick carriers from the book and read the same rows of the federal record across each of them. fleetfax does not rank them or pick one for you.
What moved on your book. Ninety days in one read: the carriers that need a look, named for what moved, over a roll-up of the routine activity that did not. A free account watches up to 50 carriers (launch offer through Sep 28, normally 15), with same-day watch on up to 3 of them. See how often a carrier's record changes
Every carrier you watch carries a count of what changed in the federal record over the last 12 months: how many insurance changes, how many authority changes. A record with a dozen changes in a year reads differently from one with two, and the counts show you that at a glance.
The Pro timeline Pro: one carrier, June 19 to July 14. Inspections and crashes carry the date FMCSA recorded them. Rows tagged observed by fleetfax are day-over-day differences in the carrier's own record, dated to when fleetfax saw them move, and they name both sides of the change: an officer field going from empty to a name on July 4, and a prior-revocation flag clearing in the census record on June 19. Filter by category to read one thread at a time, or set an as-of date and see the record as it stood on the day you checked. Officer names in this view are fictional and the carrier is not named.
The dated view above, with its field-level before-and-after, is part of fleetfax Pro, which has not launched yet.
Alert, timeline and insurance views are captured from the product, July and August 2026, including Pro views. Every carrier, name, identifier, date and amount in them was authored for the images; the layouts, the wording and the arithmetic are the product’s own. Built on the federal carrier record.
